What a delightful sale this is. The gentleman who lived here was a prolific collector and bought Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Deco era antiques up to mid century and modern day collectibles. He had a great eye for interesting pieces, a rich sense of style and humor and he rode a Harley.
There will be a large collection of bronze, brass, pewter, spelter metal and plaster art nouveau ewers and vases, including pieces by Claude Cloidon, Henri Huppe and Royal Dux, a magnificent 33” Italian faience urn with dolphins and a painted battle scene, stunning pair of spelter metal center pieces with cupids, horses and dolphins, Bradley and Hubbard cherub lamp with a seashell and horse, lots of Italian majolica, Capodimonte, Murano glass, a decorative Asian jewelry box, a large brass eagle on a globe, collection of brass clip letter holders, large brass chargers, other decorative brass pieces, statues, clocks, dresser sets, collection of Bessie Pease Guttman and Anne Benson Mueller vintage baby prints, art deco prints, religious engravings and prints in ornate frames, “Ask for Wild Root” old metal barber sign, collection of “Golden Replicas of U.
