We are selling the contents of the lovely home of long time collectors.
They began acquiring antiques and collectibles over 50 years ago.Photo 1

There will be lots of advertising pieces, including tin and paper signs, there is a large collection of coffee and tobacco tins, early photography from the 19th and early 20th century, large selection of prints, some paintings, lithographs, many frames, a collection of Wallace Nutting photo prints, sheet music, post cards and other ephemera.

Collections of bottles, pottery, including Roseville, china, depression glass and other glass, costume jewelry, textiles including hooked rugs, quilts, fabric, lace, trimmings, bed and table linen, baby and doll’s clothes, vintage ladies clothing, hats.

Antique tin toys including G-men toys, some cast iron toys, antique dolls to modern dolls, teddy bears, board games, cereal boxes, collection of early Big Little Books, Star Wars toys, more.

Victorian furniture including a pair of marble top bedroom side tables, Eastlake bookcase/secretary, leaded glass china cabinet, several legal oak and other book cases, oak roll top desk, oak file cabinet, ice boxes, Victrola and other pieces.

Antique carousel horses and parts (as found), taxidermy, lots of primitives, jugs, crocks, depression era kitchenware, vintage mannequins.

The second level of the house will now be open!  We have unpacked lots more music boxes, dolls, and vintage toys.  There is also a large amount of Christmas ornaments and Christmas collectibles, ranging from the early 1900s to the 1970s.  We unearthed some funky platform shoes, vintage hats, material, curtains, old doll clothes, doll’s chest, more bone china, a large set of Blue Ridge china, oyster plates, some sterling silver including a part of candleabras, ephemera, great Coca Cola cooler, an old dress form, and lots more.  These pieces will be displayed throughout the house!
 
Furniture from the second floor includes an antique oak four stacking legal bookcase, depression era chest and sideboard, Victorian bureau/mirror and commode, and an iron bed.  We still have from sale one an Art Deco chest and vanity with stool, antique round oak claw foot dining room table, antique oak sideboard and chairs, 1950s kitchenette set, Singer sewing machine in cabinet with stool, vintage glider and more!
