This sale is being held by appointment only and is coordinated by Paula S. Epler of PSE Estate Sales, LLC.
We will be booking appointments between 9 am and 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 28th.
We will be following the Covid-19 guidelines, there will be restrictions as to how many people will be allowed in the house at one time. Face masks are REQUIRED for anyone attending. Hand sanitizer will be available at the door and is required for use prior to entering, if waiting outside please practice social distancing and stand 6 feet apart.
This estate sale is in the prestigious Back Bay of Boston, taking place in one of the last remaining single family homes on Marlborough Street. The owner, Barbara Papesch, loved ballroom dancing, singing, searching for antiques and collectibles, she harbored a lifelong passion for opera, ballet and the theater, enjoyed outdoor sports and activities including skiing, skating, camping and boating. She loved books of all kinds, evidenced especially by her extensive cookbook and gardening collections. She collected items from both sides of her parental family, antiques, photographs, postcards and letters, dating back to the 19th century.
To include: antiques and collectibles, china, stemware, Asian items, many pieces of Wedgwood jasperware, moderne colored glass, ceramics and pottery, silverplate, woodenware, historical plates, lots of brass items, Delft, many books on gardening, art, cooking, etc., opera, classical, jazz and show tune records, ephemera, radios, seashells, baskets, lots of kitchenware, stereo equipment, and more!
Lots of clothing from the 1960s to the 1990s with a nice selection of evening dresses, Adolfo fur coat and other furs including fur hats, collars, purses, gloves, English riding boots, scarves, costume jewelry, table linen.

Please email your request for a time on Saturday, November 28th, on the hour, 9 am-4 , we will do our best to accomodate you, however, appointments will be made on a “first come, first served” basis. We will confirm your appointment by return email.
